Simulate it properly
If a system can be modelled rather than faked, we model it. It costs more to build and it is the entire reason the game is worth playing.
The studio
Raging Storm Studios Ltd was founded in January 2026 in the United Kingdom. The idea it was founded on: strategy games are at their best when the systems underneath them are real — when the supply line is a supply line and not a number going up, and when a fleet moving into position is genuinely moving into position.
If a system can be modelled rather than faked, we model it. It costs more to build and it is the entire reason the game is worth playing.
Complex underneath, legible on screen. A player should be able to look at a losing engagement and understand exactly which decision lost it.
Development updates go to the Discord first, and what comes back changes the game. A design document will never tell you the moment something stopped being fun.

Who's behind it
Founder · Developer
I'm a cloud engineer turned game developer, with more than ten years in the programming space behind me — most of it spent building systems that had to keep running whether or not anyone was watching.
The games I keep going back to are the ones that are simple on the surface and deep underneath. Factorio and Satisfactory both look like they're about laying a belt down; a hundred hours later you're untangling a logistics problem you built for yourself. That's the shape I want a space RTS to have.
Novalast is the one I kept wanting to play and couldn't find. The tactical weight of Battlefleet Gothic: Armada, the scale and strategic zoom of Supreme Commander, and supply lines that bite the way Conquest: Frontier Wars made them bite — with none of it quietly faked underneath.
It's built in Unity 6. Development updates go to the Discord first, and the feedback that comes back changes the game.

Raging Storm Studios Ltd is incorporated in the United Kingdom.
Built in Unity 6 — sector generation, physics-based combat and the logistics simulation come together as the core of the game.
Novalast opens for wishlists, and the Discord becomes the place development gets talked about.
It's ready when the simulation holds up. Wishlist on Steam and you'll hear the moment there's a date.
