Physics, not hit points
Rounds have travel time and mass. Shields are split across four quadrants, so a hull that shrugs off a bow-on charge folds when you catch it from the flank. Positioning is the weapon.

Raging Storm Studios is an independent studio in the United Kingdom. We're making Novalast — a 2.5D space RTS where fleets obey physics, supply lines are a real thing you can cut, and you can drop out of the command view into the captain's chair of a single ship.

It is the year 3125, and known space is at civil war over one resource. Nolithium is the catalyst that keeps modern society and industry functioning — every ship hull, every round fired and every replicator ration depends on it.
The Order of Terra controls what still flows and decides who is entitled to any of it. Novalast, a nebula deep in the Zeta Quadrant, holds the richest veins left — and whoever holds the nebula holds the galaxy.

What makes it different
Rounds have travel time and mass. Shields are split across four quadrants, so a hull that shrugs off a bow-on charge folds when you catch it from the flank. Positioning is the weapon.
Nolithium gets mined, refined and physically hauled to your forges by ships you can see and shoot. Break a convoy and the yards go quiet — no abstract resource ticker to hide behind.
Command the fleet from above like any RTS, then drop into a single ship and fly it yourself on the front line. The rest of the battle does not politely wait for you.

The studio
Founded in January 2026 and built around one conviction: the strategy games that stay with you are the ones whose systems are actually simulated, not scripted to look like it. We'd rather ship one deep game than five shallow ones.

Wishlisting is the single most useful thing you can do for a small studio — it's how Steam decides whether anyone hears about us at launch.
