Raging Storm Studios is a video game developer studio founded in Janurary 2026, located in the United Kingdom. We are currently developing the game Novalast, where Space meets MOBA, inspired by the greats such as Sins of a Solar Empire™, Warhammer 40K™ Battlefleet Gothic™, Supreme Commander™, Helldivers 2™, DOTA™ / League of Legends™ and many more!
We are passionate about space games, and while we may be just a fledgling studio at the beginning of our journey, we are here to bring greatness to the space video game genre!
Novalast
Space meets MOBA
Novalast is a lane-based space strategy game where tactics, adaptability, mastery of logistics and effective positioning of your ship decide the fate of the battlefield. You are one ship Captain of many striving to take control of your quadrant of the Novalast nebula, before the enemy harvests it of Nolithium and leaves you and your faction in the dust.
The year is 2447, and all-out civil war between The Order of Terra and Sol’s Vengeance has been raging for over 7 years. 6 months ago, scientists discovered that the nebula of Novalast contains high amounts of Nolithium, the prime material used in the formation of NanoTek, used in construction of nearly all artificial matter to date, be it a humble spoon, all the way to the complexity of a starship.
Control of Novalast is paramount to winning the war. Who’s side will you take?

About Raging Storm Studios
Raging Storm Studios was founded January 2026, and is currently manned soley by Matt Cavanagh, a cloud engineer turned game developer, a seasoned veteran in the programming space for over 10 years, and overall lover and nerd of Space Games and SciFi. Novalast is their first project, in a hopefully long line of games to come!
We are passionate about space games, it is cool, it is unfathomably big and it is the final frontier. We can think of no better genre to make our entrance!
